ability to describe, understand, and interpret so as to
anticipate the human impact of an event or action
within a spatiotemporal environment. The session
will present framework for mining actionable
knowledge that are inexplicitly adopted. It will focus
the issues that are either not addressed or
insufficiently studied.

The fuel driving the engine of growth and
sustainable development of any nation is the
nation’s access to reliable and adequate geospatial
information. The socio-economic and environmental
management decisions are based on quality and
accurate information on natural resources and other
geospatial data. The session will focus on facilitating
efficient production, management, dissemination
and use of geospatial information for sustainable
development and the challenges facing the
geospatial community and need for the
establishment of a national geospatial data
infrastructure.

Geospatial Industry
As the world is witnessing Brazil as emerging
political and economic power and is preparing to
move towards being highly developed country. The
international connectivity and commitment of Brazil
to host major business enterprises along with World
Cup and Olympics is adding the momentum to
manage its resources better and develop quality
infrastructure, which are very much pre-requisite for
overall growth of the country. Of course geospatial
industry of Brazil has its own role to play in this
growth story and several of local and international
companies are getting ready to develop this industry
further and contribute to overall development of
