Standard and Interoperability: Improving Information System

Most organizations that could benefit from geospatial information do not yet benefit because spatial information has been locked in non-standard systems, or 'stove pipes'. The seminar will explore the return on investment, requirements and solutions for integration of geospatial standards and interoperability strategies into government and commercial business processes.

The seminar will focus on
  • The power of interoperability and standards
  • Ability of open standards to reduce costs
  • Ease in integration of new data sources and technologies
  • Improving interoperability standards to support
  • Next generation assessments
  • What’s ahead for geospatial interoperability and standards
  • Challenges and way forward
